Creation of Separate Account on Zabbix for Clients purpose

This steps are to be done after the Host(VM) is already added up in Zabbix

1) Login to Zabbix as Admin
2) Go to Configurations > Host Group > Create Host Group
3) Enter Group Name > Add
4) Now Go to Administration > Users Group > Create User Group > Group Name > Go to Permissions Tab type the Host Group Created under Step 2 > give permissions as Read Only > Click Add (Not the Main add but the one written in Bold) > Then click Final Add .

Now that we have created user Group and added permission for That particular Host Group we will do 2 Steps

1) Add user to this User Group
2) Host to its Host Groups

5) Go to Administration > Users > Create user (Top Right) > Add Alias, Name then under Groups Click Select and use previously created User Groups (From Step 4) add password, readd pass then click on add.
6) Go To Configurations > Hosts > Clear Any already selected Hostgroups from Top section keep all Fields empty and apply should show all Hosts together > Now Search for the hosts by entering the Name of the host or IP and click Apply again > Click on Name of the host from the results which are appeared , Once selected the Hosts now we just need to add this host to a Hostgroup which we created in Step 2 > So After editing the host go to Groups sections and type the Host Group name select it and Click Update.
7) Now Login to Zabbix in New browser using User details which we created in Step 5 > After Successful login go to Monitoring > Latest Data , This will show us the host which we assigned with the latest Data being populated only for this user. (Make Sure no other hosts should be visible at this stage and Writable permissions are not allotted)

8) Last step is for users who login should go to Latest Data link automatically, for this Copy the URL where we seen the Latest Data under user Login from Step 7. Now Go back to Admin edit the User and under URL(After Login ) > Paste this copied URL and Click Add/Update.

We are Done you can Logout and Login again to verify the user is able to login and redirect to latest Data Automatically to view the Latest Parameters of the Host.
